Production Report - Dark Nights

Production Journal 11/05/15

So far I have completed 3 of the 5 filming sessions for Dark Nights. They have worked really well so far and I think I have accomplished the look/feel that I was aiming for in the planning stages. There was some trouble with prop lightbulbs breaking in the first session but that was easily fixed with a prop switch from a overhead light to a desk lamp. The actors were really good though being 'one shot wonders' so I have decreased the sessions from 4 to 3 as all the shots were completed at the end of the 3rd session for the particular sequence we were filming. Next week, I am doing the last two sessions for the night shots.

Today, I worked on Laura's film as 'Mum'. We did the first scene of her film to see how it looked and to test out her different shots. We used the DSLR and tripod with a dolly for the following show clips.
